Territories of the Breast is a feature documentary exploring multiple crossroads of breast cancer: health inequality, gender crisis, support system, medical knowledge and artistic responses. The artist and co-director, Sonia Báez-Hernández, diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001 in an outpatient facility in Evanston exemplifies the options for 42 millions of American without health insurance.
A discussion with Sonia Báez-Hernández and Diana Solis (featured in the film) and LCCP, will be held immediately following the film.
This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available at the Sheffield Parking Facility located at 2335 N. Sheffield and in the Clifton Parking Deck located at 2330 N. Clifton.
